Rapidplay Tournament Terms and Conditions:
We reserve the right to move players between sections and the decision of the arbiter shall be final.
Except in the open, unrated players are only eligible for half of 1st prize.
In the event of a tie, prizes may be pooled and divided between the winners.
Tournament eligibility
You MUST be a Silver Member of the ECF on the day of the tournament or incur an additional 12 Pounds Fee.
Parental Responsibility
Parents or guardians are responsible for their children during the tournament. The Organiser can't take responsibility for any child’s actions, or for the actions of anyone that may affect your child.
Liability
The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft or accident during the tournament.
Right to Refuse Entry
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry without being required to state a reason.
Zero Tolerance to Abuse
The Chief Arbiter has the right to expel anyone who causes a disturbance.
Covid Regulations
Players can choose to wear masks at their own discretion, it will not be compulsory.
People can play regardless of their vaccination status.
If you are showing symptoms of coronavirus or are required to isolate, you must
not enter the campus.
These requirements may change depending on government guidelines
Data Protection
Information provided is shared with 3rd parties for the essential purpose of running the tournament.
We may use your contact information to promote future tournaments. If you do not want to be contacted for future events, please opt out when entering by emailing - chesseventsuk@outlook.com
Venue
Any damage to the building, room, furnishings or equipment is not tolerated.
Participants are not permitted to enter any restricted area on campus or to penetrate any barrier that is in place. Those found to be accessing unauthorised areas may be ejected from the venue.
Refunds
If you are unable to attend the event, your entry fee can be used for other events run by chessevents. Refunds are discretional.

You MUST pay your entry fee in advance due to limited spaces. There are a number of payment methods accepted. If you do not pay in advance we may fill your seat with another entrant.
